Expanding a Chemical Group

•	By default, chemical groups are shown as simple, special symbols, e.g. Et for ethyl.

•	A chemical group may be expanded so that each atom and bond is shown explicitly. For example:

 

•	To expand a chemical group, right-click on the group and select Expand Group.

•	Alternatively, select Atoms from the top-level menu, Expand Chemical Groups from the resulting pull-down menu, then either Selected or All (if you pick the former, you will be asked to pick the groups to be expanded).
